Pulled the Trigger, Papillionaire Cafe Racer
A couple of surprises. First, shipping is free. Second, the frame and fork are powder coated.
$645 including the optional leather saddle and 8 speed Nexus hub. I got the cream 700x35 Kenda Kwest tires. I didn't get the optional leather grips because I make my own.
The maroon was 15% off which saved more than $100. I guess they are overstocked on that color.
At any rate, it was my favorite of the 5 colors.

I'm sure it will be a fine riding bike. Wheelbase is huge, which would make it a nice touring bike I imagine.

Cool beans. Not my cuppa tea, especially w/o drop bars but it's undeniably stylin'. 
Those Shimano 8-speed hubs are very finicky about cable pull, so you have to get it set just right, but it's worth the effort.

The frame has semi-horizontal dropouts so a derailleur with claw is a possibility.
I will run an upside down north road bar. I have a brand new chrome steel one waiting.
I saw this chrome steel stem at Velo Orange.
