I bought a new sofa.
My old sofa didn't make the move to my new house. So I bought a new one. I needed throw pillows, so I went C & V.

Yup. I don't own a cell phone. I figure, I made it 62+ years without one, I can make it the rest of my life. But, it is getting harder and harder.
It is cordless. Do I at least get partial credit?

My uncle had a collection of several hundred vintage phones that he passed on to my dad when I was a child (he died far too young). For years my dad was one of the main purveyors of antique phones during the early days of eBay, and he got really good at restoring them (he's a mechanic by trade). Ah, good memories... Boxes and boxes of phones everywhere!

When I first saw the title of this post, I thought for sure I was going to see a bike with a too-long top-tube, stem too big and perhaps saddle set too far back. My long-distance bike has the first two, and I love the way it stretches me out on long rides. I call it my "lounge chair".

When the phone company first allowed you to provide your own phone, I had to get one with a switch to convert the button tones to pulses because the local phone company had not yet upgraded from the rotary dial system.
