Bike related with the CA Middle Class Refund
Some of us got a refund - CA Middle Class Tax Refund -2022
That would be a nice chunk of money for a new bike or at least a partial payment.
Some got a debit card. I saw some of the fees and charges to use that debit card. Even to transfer money from debit card to my checking will incur $7.00 fee plus 3%.
One way is to forego the debit card by cancelling it and immediately request a paper check. Then go to your local bike shop and get that fancy wheelset.
