Buying a folding bike
Hi, 1st time poster.
I'm looking into buying a Stepdragon a808 folding bike.
I have 2 questions:
Would it be suitable for riders in the 5'11/180cm range?
Would it get me up a category 2 climb?
Cheers

Could not find the info on the Sin Chang Hung website, but from the picture of that particular model I would guess it would be just fine.
Depends on your fitness and motivation. You could get a Walmart bike with 2 flat tires and only one pedal up a Cat 2 climb if you were motivated and fit enough to do so.
Good luck

Doesn't look too bad on gearing. Might even be able to change rear cassette and chainrings to lower gearing. Can't really tell what parts they used in pics I googled

I know nothing about that particular bike, but I own a vintage folder, and I can tell you they are extremely fun little bikes! Best of luck with your decision.

Bike Friday alone builds sizes, all the others 1 size frame, and for Brompton a few bar and seat mast type choices
and colors..
no clue what a " Stepdragon a808 folding bike" is send a link..
A Dahon knock-off? there is a lot of those, shipping out of Shanghai.
this site is also Asian an I have no idea of even what the currency they are using or the exchange rate
[although 'Lazada.com.ph', suggests the Philippine islands..]

It should be fine for your size. Looking at it online, it has 48x38x28 chain rings and an 8-speed freewheel, so it probably has a low gear around 20 inches. If you can make it up a category 2 climb on your regular bike, you can make it up on the Stepdragon.

Thanks for the replies, I couldn't post the a link to the bike as new members have post a certain amount of times before you can add a link.

turns out , 1 philippine peso = U$D 0.019 so just about 2 cents.
so its about $152 bucks won't be primo, but its cheap.
