Nope.

You'll get dirty, but you'll look good doing it!

Pro Tip:

As long as you're at Wal-Mart stocking up on wicking tee shirts, don't forget to stop by the hardware department for some durable cycling gloves.

Good idea. Thanks for the reminder.

And stop by the garbage bag aisle for some winter outerwear.

Hamburger helper with Spam is a great post ride meal.

I was looking for some cycling gloves at Walmart, they didn't have any in my size. I've got big hands. I went to the sporting goods section and got a pair of weightlifting gloves (bro, I don't even lift) which were $4 cheaper and have lasted me ever since.

I rummage through the dumpster in back of the hospital for those blue operating room booties. Ten or twelve of those make an excellent winter layering system for the feet.

A couple of cardboard boxes from the liquor store makes a reasonable crash helmet and completes the homeless look. Bonus points when I stop for red lights and people hand me a dollar our their car window.

Personally, I don't feel the need to impress anyone with Russel and Fruit of the Loom logos when clothes from Goodwill work just as well.

Pockets? Hmmm. Got some bike bags n pouches. I usually go with some merino wool stuff n sale at REI or Patagonia. Long sleeve or short, 1/4 zippers too, go figure.

Would you stop with the fake news already? Walmart did NOT buy Rapha. A private investment firm--RCZ Investments--started by a couple of the Walton grandkids bought a majority stake in Rapha. That is NOT the same as Walmart buying Rapha. RCZ and Walmart are distinct entities with no corporate connection.

if Elon Musk or his progeny started an investment firm and ended up buying KFC you wouldn't say Tesla owns KFC.

Not wading into the jersey vs. T debate... but for people who prefer jerseys & want a cheap option, I'm a fan of Spotti on Amazon. The shorts are sh** but the jerseys are great: https://tinyurl.com/ya9mx653

I love 'em, have 5 short sleeved & 3 long sleeved. Also I have 38" shirt cuffs and the long sleeves are actually long enough. They feel light, not too hot during summer swelter humid sun, feel great on my back.

Fair warning, they aren't skin tight so you get some flutter. You don't even notice it during the ride, but for people who care about that this ain't your jersey.

$17.99, use code N8T6JUX3 at checkout to get 30% off that price.
