Vittoria Pave tubs Vs Veloflex Pave tubs
I'm going to have to choose one or the other. The blurb on the Vittoria website about puncture protection and whatnot is more convincing, mostly because the Veloflex website just doesn't say an awful lot. But unfortunately the green stripe on the Vittoria is going to look hideous on my bike, so I'd rather get the Veloflex if there isn't any difference.
Any suggestions?

Although difficult, the Vittoria Paves can be found (at least in the 700 x 24 size) in an all black configuration.

Do you have a link for it? I was going to get a few recently and could not even find the green ones in PBK or wiggle. They were all out.

The Veloflex Roubaix is not a tougher tire such as the Vittoria Pave, it is just a larger version of Veloflex's Carbon 700 x 22 vs. 700 x 24.

From my experience the Veloflex Pave provides a better ride but the Vittoria Pave is more durable. I've owned 3 or 4 of the Veloflex and flatted every one of them well before their expiration date whereas the Vittoria's wore down well past due before they flatted. Would like to think it was just bad luck with the Veloflexes because they ride really nice but am a little gun shy after spending the money and finding the Vittorias on sale last year through PBK for $43.00 a tire.
