Creaked Chainstay
Took my Specialized Rockhopper out of storage today and noticed that my left side crankarm was hitting the frame. I first thought it was the bb loose, but on further observation I notice there was a crack in the bottom chainstay. Is it possible to rewelded or fixed.

Have a picture? If the crank is hitting it, it is more than just cracked. Anything can be fixed. The question is, is it financially feasible to have it fixed or cheaper to replace the frame.

If you are the original owner and have not clearly wrecked the bike there is a very good chance it would be replaced under warranty.
