Raleigh Tourist Loop frame
I picked this one up awhile back, mainly because I had never owned one like it. Neat bike & it is a joy to ride. 1979 , 3 spd, 22" Loop frame, in good working condition. Brooks # 66 saddle. There are a lot of scratches that have been touched-up, some rust & pitting on handlebars, a few fender dents , etc.
Since I don't know much about this type bike,,, what do you think is a fair value to ask for this bike in its present condition ?

That is pretty big pic and hard to download to see much detail. I think unless it is pristine condition value on those is determined more by your location and the desire of the buyer.

I'll try to add a better pix , later. It is pretty nice, but in no way pristine. I did add that it has a nice Brooks #66 saddle. What very few I have seen online , sellers have asked anywhere from $75- $500 .

Still learning
IIRC, a flight attendent from Hawaii bought one in Brooklyn about a year ago. VG original condition, high $300's?
Lostarchitect may recall more info.

It's a decent buy at the asking price if it is in good original condition and complete with original fenders and chain guard. Nice original fenders and extras are a big deal on these as much as 50% instant discount if there not there. Even in slightly rougher condtion it might be worth it if complete. If it is missing stuff like the pic lead me to believe the price drops to $100 in my opinon.

I am located in N. Central Florida, not far from Gainesville.
Fenders & frame have scratches that have been touched up & fenders have a couple of dents. Chainguard has a few scratches, too. It is complete , including the frame pump , & still has Raleigh tires on it that are in good shape , but showing just a little dry rot. I am the 2nd owner of the bike. The worst thing, overall, there is some rusting on the handlebars , brake levers, etc. Here is the local ad.

In Boston, during the season, all tuned up it would be at least $400.
Loop frames are very popular here.

I agree, I'd say it's worth around $400. Shocked you haven't sold it yet. This seems to be just about the only model bike where a ladies' model is worth more than a men's.
I was just in Central Florida 4 days ago and absolutely would have bought it from you for 175 had I spotted it then, but unfortunately I'm back in Ohio now.
