Question Problem with Star Trac Spinning Computer

I have a Spinner NXT indoor cycle that has performed flawlessly for years. However, yesterday I noticed that the Spinning Computer was neither indicating the RPMs nor the Time. I replaced the batteries in the Spinning Computer as well as the battery in the cadence sensor. This did not resolve the problem. I then verified the 5mm distance between the sensor & the magnet. In addition, I attempted to re-sync the cadence sensor & the computer. Although I followed the instructions to the letter, I was unable to get an ID number when I waved a magnet in front of the sensor.

Any suggestions that you might offer would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.
