So wife is tired of having to get the kids ready for school by herself. I told her I was tired of riding in the dark. She said you can ride in the afternoon. Not ideal but I will take it. Picked Amelia up from school come home start kiting up. She says what are you doing. I said going for a ride, she goes absolutely not. Not when I have both kids. SMH. Back to riding in the dark.

Funny, the local Honda dealer's website has had the same CTR listed as available for the past 2 months. I though these were really in high demand. I just sent them an email. Maybe if I offer a lowball cash offer today, at the end of the month, they will take the money for the EOM cash flow??

Zwift race today on Glasgow crit circuit, 4 laps in the A race. 2nd / 12. I like this course because I can be a little bit "tactical" with respect to my finishing strategy, almost as if it was a real race. And it worked for me today too:
There is little kicker about 0.6 miles from the line, with two sequential right-hand turns after, and a steep downhill drop after the first. I like to launch super hard going into the kicker, cresting it with a head full of steam and more speed/momentum. Then, I can rest for 3-4 breaths while my avatar is still going faster than the field. All it takes is a couple seconds of hesitation from behind and then I can hold it to the line. Nice.
Went back to Watopia and capped it off with another 15 minutes with the A robo pacer bot. Solid workout in a hair under 1 hour!
A brief moment of panic, on the wrong side of a split. This was the bridge. Of course we slowed down after and they rejoined...
yeah buddy

It was the mazdaspeed specifically. They threw a turbo in there and a little tuning for more HP. Manual trans only. Liz used to have a regular Mazda3 and I can confirm it was a great car. I think I'd be in love with a mazdaspeed.

I used to get tickets for letting my dog run loose. Rebel that I was, I didn't pay them and wound up doing time over it. My own choice. $110 fine, or they can spend $40/day to keep me in the county jail for ten days.

In 2008, you could buy a Porsche 911 for 20% off. Not six months ago.

I used to be excited about getting some sort of sporty manual transmission hatch. Like the Focus ST or the (now discontinued) Mazdaspeed 3. I think those days are over now. We are on my parent's previous 2012 Prius that they sold me for dirt cheap, so that was a no brainer. Sold Liz's car last year. When we replace hears, we'll want something with a little clearance and room, to accommodate kids and outdoor recreation. So a SUV or wagon of some sort. It won't get driven that much so mileage efficiency aint that important.

Agree - they are great cars/value for money. We're on our fifth '3'; five x 4 year lease. We bought out our current one ('19 hatch/GT trim [bells/whistles]) in May. Given current lease rates and the silly low residual we had, no brainer; cars are solid/reliable, and our '19 had only 64,000 kms on it.

The car issue is only a real issue when the kids are babies and toddlers. Once out of car seats, everything is fair game.
I drove a 911 when our kids were 12 and 14. They loved jumping into the back seat. Kids are malleable.

Seriously, my wife knows who you are because I’ve mentioned you numerous times as the No BS doctor that I wish I had instead of the young whippersnappers I seem to get assigned the last 7-8 years. I refer to you as my Pennsylvania internet doctor.

I'm hoping for just enough turnout that there will be little treats left so I won't have to eat it. Like last year. Sugar is th debil.

Must not be as arid as the quasi southeast.
You went to jail for 10 days rather than pay $110? Over dog restraint?

I use my mower to herd a nice neat column of leaves to one side of the yard. More efficient than blowing, less tiring than raking.

Yes, and look at all the new 'friends' you'll meet.
