I like the original Flite saddle box with the Concorde. I remember that box when I first bought my Flite saddle in 1992 at Pedal Pushers in Santa Rosa. That would be BikePro if you remember those ads in every bike magazine back then.

If I am, I'll rig up my bikes to generate the needs energy to run my electronic devices.

I am not a collector myself. But I've known some collectors. Nothing wrong with preserving a history. I would have liked to have read more about the collection.
I have read of group rides on vintage bicycles.... although none in my area. That might be a fun way for us non-collectors (who also own a vintage bike or two) to enjoy our two wheeled tangible hunks of nostalgia.

I'm a bike geek, but I dont have a bike cave.
Got a bike for every discipline, & a use for all but 3 of them.
Pit bike, Race bike for CX, bike only for trainer duty,training/recovery bike(tripple), Race ready for road, commuter/part time gravel grinder.
The 3 I don't use have sentimental value.
I should feel honored to have cue stalking me, he was on bianchi10 about his C-Dale being generic as well.
All bark... At least lives up to his name... Always on cue to troll.

Perhaps he's trying to get as much space as possible between the bike forks and the edge of the shelf they are sitting on? Judging by how close they are with the forks backward, that was my impression and doesn't detract at all from the bike. It's not like they are set up and rideable at the moment.

Got back into cycling and sold almost all of it.
Thought it would kill me, but it was liberating and freed up some cash.
I have a few choice pieces, now, and a decent pedal board.
Gear is for using, not sitting, IMO.
Sold this guy as a unit:
It was fun researching, and buying and trading to put it together, but I moved-on to other things and it was just sitting, so I sold it. Hurt a little, and I've re-purchased a few of the same pedals.
Still sick, but getting better...

It's just like a collection of old anything - cars, photography equipment, golf. etc. They are pieces of history to just look at. I personally would rather have a few nice high end bikes (Di2, EPS, and maybe Red), a super light climbing bike, and a TT that get ridden all the time than a bunch of 30 year old ones just sitting around.

I play the drums. At one point I was up to 12 snare drums in my collection. I put a stop to it and sold most of them, down to 3 now that I use on a regular basis. N+1 for musicians can get expensive very quickly.
