And you'd know this how?
Do I have a new stalker I'm not aware of?
I think i might've posted pics of 2-3 of my bikes, & I never bragged about having anything special.
I do all my own maintenance, & upgrades. I don't like my bike molested by others.
I'm still trying to figure out what bike I want next, & I'm fully aware spending $10K on a bike won't make me any faster.
I might just build another one.

Man... I want a vintage Cannondale in black with white letters with downtube shifters as a commuter. Something discrete. That all aqua blue bike he has would work for me as well.
I'd actually ride it too... (extensively)

It's just like a collection of old anything - cars, photography equipment, golf. etc. They are pieces of history to just look at. I personally would rather have a few nice high end bikes (Di2, EPS, and maybe Red), a super light climbing bike, and a TT that get ridden all the time than a bunch of 30 year old ones just sitting around.

I find this kind of thing to be interesting.
I used to have a large "collection" room like this...devoted to retro/vintage computing and video games (I know...nerdy...go ahead and poke fun).
Long story short...you become numb to it. After some time, you stop looking at it (its not like you just sit there and state at the stuff). As for functionality, you can't use everything all of the time and favorites emerge. After a while, 90%+ of it just sits there and collects dust and you use your favorites only. I landed up keeping a few things that I really loved and sold the rest, it landed up being a great decision.
I'm not going to assume if the owner of that collection enjoys or does not enjoy his stuff...I just know it wears thin after a while. It is a nice room/collection though...

Perhaps he's trying to get as much space as possible between the bike forks and the edge of the shelf they are sitting on? Judging by how close they are with the forks backward, that was my impression and doesn't detract at all from the bike. It's not like they are set up and rideable at the moment.
