Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

^They come with some of the specialized computers. They go under your headset top cap. A friend of mine has one.

What post is that? Looks like a Specialized post, but with a head assembly more like a Thomson.

Sure is a Specialized post. Pavé II w/ Zertz insert. Not sure about the headset assembly though...

He meant the seatpost clamp, not your headset. Similar design to Thompson.

Sorry if you understood him and now I just sound ignorant!

Oh my, very nice! I take it you didn't use a Specialized seatpost (no zertz insert) ? Still looks amazing

Thanks -- shortly after that pic it started snowing, so I haven't gotten to ride (outdoors) yet. I have a few of those zertz posts laying around, but I have no complaints with the Ec90 so I kept it. I bought the frame and swapped everything from my 07 s-works over.

Black/white wheels? Did you edit it that? If not, where??? I want SRAM wheels but my bike is blue, which would be a complete and utter disaster.

New for 2010, called Stealth Grey. The other ones would have been a disaster on my old blue bike!

Those wheels look really slick. Don't they weigh a ton and a half though?

I think they weigh 2000g. I don't feel the extra pound when I am riding. My other wheels are 1500g Heds. I built the bike up to be fast, not to be light. I don't even notice the extra weight on extended climbs -- these wheels are sick. I'll stop before I get into a rant about weight vs aerodynamics.

Plus, that rolling weight can actually help you maintain momentum. Apparently Moser's rear disc during one of his succesful hour attempts was hyooj and weighed a freakin' ton.

Thanks-- I had it on the stand tonight to tune the RD, the token cassette is kind of a pain to dial in. I was able to use one less space with the longer headtube on this bike.

Wouldn't it make sense to build it up before moving? I mean, shipping charges and what not. Some airlines I know charge 150 or so.
