Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It is done- also posted under "putting my bike on a diet". I need to take a pic on the scale- 11.33 lbs and I can still take it down a bit further.

To answer the previous post- it's an ax-lightness endurance saddle- 77g, 3 years old, the only piece of equipment made by ax that I'll use.

Just picked up a 2013 allez Yesterday. Very basic bike, but as I get more fit and more into riding I plan to change a few things for sure.

Yeah but at the same time I seem to recall some dude posting his bike with large saddle-bar drop, but he had posted pics in other threads with less drop. He obviously raised the saddle for the pic, got called out on it, and was raked over the coals for it.

Not easy to please that group I'd say

That wasn't in the Hot-or-Not thread, it was a thread that he had started basically stating that he was done caring about aesthetics (in which he obviously altered his bike for aesthetic purposes). He was also a dooosh, so people were happy to pile on.

Thanks, nose up has always worked well for me when using a Flite. The position seemed to be popular when this saddle was the choice of allot of pros as demonstrated by Marco and Lance here.

Definite Like! The Campagnolo grouppo sounds great to me.

Don't sweat the upward tilt, Ally G's nice Ribble below with the downward tilt balances it all out in the cosmic sense of things, I suppose.

Bar tape should be black to match the saddle
Seatpost should be white to match frame and stem
The end of the handle bar should be aligned with the same angle as the top tube
The noze of the saddle should be pointing a little bit up
Chain not supposed to be in the biggest cog ...

This is only my opinion ...

Actually I believe the consensus is the chain is supposed to be in the absolute highest gear - smallest rear cog and largest chain ring.
