That's awesome! I love Ellsworth, but I didn't know they made a road frame. A guy I know works for them somehow.

Well i'm new to the forum, live just outside of Jackson, TN and have been riding off and on since the mid 80's. Just recently started back riding after a long hiatus due to injuries outside the cycling arena. This bike was built for me in 93 and i just haven't had any reason to buy another. Built by Peter Dreesens out of Schwanksville,PA w/ Columbus prestige tubing , nickled drop outs, Syncros stem and post and campy veloce 8 speed. Am thinking of converting to 10 speed. She has served me well over the years

Since the last time I posted some photos, I've made a few changes to my Follis road bike. I've added a retro water bottle cage to the handlebars, rigged some yellow brake cables, and flipped them so that my right hand now operates the front brake, which is the way the bike was originally set up, in 1962. So far, I've managed to keep from killing myself trying to keep which hands operate which brakes on my various bikes.
Anybody have suggestions on what to use to burnish the lugs, which are starting to noticeably corrode?

Thank you icyclist, by the end of summer, I plan on changing out the chain, cassette, pedals, Skewers
and post clamp, all to Ti/gold color. Hopefully making it lighter and giving it a more balanced color schemes.

Love is a word I use sparingly, conserving it only for my future wife and these R 28 Aero4 wheels…. All joking aside I have no complaints, they role Forever!!! Along with the Michelin Pro 3, sometimes I’ll find myself cruising/costing a parking lot using my phone, wondering when was the last time I pedaled.
As for durability,
A guy at my LBS informed me the hub flange is thicker, so that could be one of the 2009 upgrades.
I like riding till I find spots to practice Control Drills. Trying to take turns as hard and deep as I can. Stuff like countersteering, when you lean into a turn, while control the steering a out the other way. So I’d say my 185lb person has put some stress on the wheels, without any problems yet.
