92 Schwinn Series 5 PDG

I recently sold mine in So. CA for $380. The bike was probably 8 out of 10 on condition, paint and components. It was on the market a few months.

I see this all the and think I posted this before but this is the head badges on my PDG 2. It very clearly says it was made in CHINA not JAPAN. Roger

Hmm, exhuming a 12-year-old thread must've inspired this guy to sell his bike today:

1992 Schwinn Paramount PDG Series 5 Road Bike *54cm* *Excellent Shape* - $500 (Madison)

First one I ever recall seeing sold here. No country of origin indicated at the bottom of the head tube. And at the risk of falling off a high horse (or more likely a high bar stool), five Franklins is steep for a 105-equipped bike.

(Dunno if he's selling the driveway and garage door too, since they take up more of the frame than the bike )

All 1991-1992 Schwinn Paramount PDG Series 2. 3, 5, 7 frames were made in Japan by Panasonic. (Serial numbers: 0xxxxxx, 1xxxxxx, 2xxxxxx)

rhenning, Could you kindly tell us your Chinese made Schwinn Paramount PDG Series 2 serial number? Thanks.

I sold the bike 5 or 10 years ago and never recorded the serial number but it was for sure Chinese made. Roger
