Can anyone ID this miniature high wheel?
Hi!
I recently picked up this miniature high wheel bike. I don't know anything about it, but hopefully you do! It has an inscription on the fork that reads, "us hame co "buffalonian" no. 622". Anyone know what this is? I did a quick Google search and couldn't find much.

Weird, but that description, including "Buffalonian" comes up as a horse harness/collar. Seems Hames produced horse tack. How that translates over to a high wheel bicycle?
Edit: Found a possible reason. Perhaps the company produced a bicycle at some time during its operation. This is from "Collectors Weekly"
U.S. Hame Co. was in business starting in 1902. They made horse collars, saddles, hames, & other carriage hardware. The business ended in 1917 when the name was changed to USHCO Mfg. Co. & they began making chassis for vehicles.

I'll ask my old employer next week. He may even have one. I saw a miniature penny farthing rolling around the shop about 8 years ago. It was easily a century old.
