Coil is loose on Atac Alium pedal
Has anyone replaced a coil on an Atac Alium before?
Looks like something you pop out, but not sure...

What coil are you wishing to replace? the cleat retention springs? Why?
Have the pedals but they have been OK, no need to screw with them.
But I have not used them for a couple years.
Adding. There is a roll pin that goes thru the wound spring from side to side .
drive it out, releases all that spring tension, so your reverse part
assembling it again, is not a 'pop' in .
you need the shop chops to be up to dealing with high tension springs,
factory has jigs and special production tools to produce them.

Well it's loose, and when I pedal I can feel my foot move around.

Might ask at the bike shop and have them sent back thru the supply chain for service.
or toss them and get new.

The spring that needs replacing is the center one; it has 8 coils close together. The outside spring has a coil on each side of the center spring, that one is fine and doesn't need replacing.
This is the coil pin end with a hole in it. This would seem the logical place to unscrew.
And this is the other end of that coil pin, which inserts itself into a hole in the pedal housing.

I don't have these pedals but from your pictures I've concluded the "coil pin" isn't threaded and doesn't unscrew. It seems to be a friction fit pin with one end splined and probably drives out from left to right. Fietsbob referred to it as a rollpin but I can't tell from the picture if it is or just a hollow pin. He is also correct that if you drive out that pin and release the tension on the springs, you will have the devil's own time getting them back in place and retentioned without the factory tools.

Ok guys, I got it.
Instead of trying to unscrew the pin, I pushed it out by inserting a small hex key. So the last picture I posted, the pin actually does come out that way.
To reset it, I just pushed the pin back in. Now it doesn't come flush to the hole - as HR stated - so I used a screwdriver to line it up and in it went.
So one more thing done!
Thanks guys for your feedback, I gave me the motivation to see this thing through.

I found this back in '08 and bookmarked it. Every time I planned on using it, I wound up finding a nice NOS pair on Ebay, saving me the trouble of tearing the old one down. I still have the bookmark for some of the small parts-

I still have the new, unused circlip pliers waiting to crack one open when the need arises.
