Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Selle Italia SLR Lady Gel Flow saddle for my road bike. Hope it works out--if not, I'll sell it on the 'bay.

After much deliberation about building my own with Zipp rims, Dura Ace hubs and Sapim CX-Ray spokes (thanks to the many helpful suggestions by Psimet, Deanoldo, Ygduf, Triguy & other gentleman-scholars), I was finally seduced by the exchange rate and got these from Wiggle.co.uk for more than $600 less than US retail. Free shipping too.
They're also even a little lighter than the Zipp wheels I was considering. Just hope I'll be able to find replacement spokes at some point. If not, I'll have learned a lesson and at least I got a discount on the tuition.

I'm so.... I've been thinking of getting a set of these. I'm envious!

Two Dave-O cages in Whiteout and two cheapy Camelback black and red bottles with lockout just because they matched my color scheme. I'm quite happy with both. Thanks to all who +ed the Dave-O.

Though it does make me a very saaaaaad panda when I see the white cages getting marked by the black bottle. 8(

She just doesn't understand. Is it medical-grade? 'Cause I'm thinking you could measure your pre-ride movements on that baby.

My wife ordered a 2010 Cannondale CAAD9-5 for her, and bought me a 2010 Chorus 11 group. I'd been slowly saving for an Athena 11 group. Guess I'd better use that money at the jewelery store now...

Woohoo! I finally got some stuff and remembered this thread...

The first item I'm gonna try out real soon... the other two are being put in "inventory" for when the old ones inevitably wear out -- they were on sale/cheap on eBay so I couldn't resist.

Thanks to CCCorlew for organizing the Jersey/Bib setup. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...y-order-thread
