I might show up and say hi, was planning on being in the area at that time. Had one of the most braindead accidents on my bike this evening and rolled my ankle, might not be able to get on my bike tomorrow. Was tipsy and coming into a big intersection pretty hot (Alameda and woodside) and for some reason I was feeling spicy and decided to stand on my pedals and take my hands off the bars, the least stable position on a bike that I can hold, and ended up having to bail to dodge a car. Was so stupid. Gene id take that saddlebag, need a new place to store my weed
somone stole my Italian bianchi which is a major bummer. Probably gonna roll with a steel single speed if I’m able to walk.

I might be able to attend. Also, sorry, no Italians in my closet, too rich for my blood. I'll have to settle for my clunker Trek or Miyata.

Best laid plans and all that… I should know better than to publicly pronounce my future whereabouts, since life often gets in the way. Maybe next month…

I missed the ride this morning when I stepped out into the garage and saw water on the floor. So while you were enjoying your ride, I was replacing a new water softener. Btw, nice bikes! Never seen a Colnago like that—classy! Hopefully I’ll see ya next month.

Once again, life (and work commitments) got in the way. :-( Once, I have to fall back on "maybe next month."

A vintage group meet at the Arbolado Park, near the North Gate of Mt Diablo. Five riders started, one dropped out after a little bit. Bikes were a all 1990 or earlier, oldest being a Colnago of the 1970s I believe. Temperature, visibility and traffic were really all perfect, pace was medium, so was the wind. Out and back was 25 miles, 3600ft. Just a great morning ride!
Here are some pictures of the day.

I did a dry run of the route solo today, and boy did it kick my butt. I may need a little training before I join you all.
Be honest — how many of you know about this bench because you had to use it?

Another month, another no-go for me. My wife is in a performance that on Saturday that a dutiful husband had nest not miss. Since I do my best to do a reasonable impersonation of a dutiful husband, I had best attend. (Small price to pay; she's a keeper.)

Barring anything unforeseen, I'll be there.
I've now ridden all my C&V bikes at one of these or another, including stretching the definition with the Battaglin this month. So, should I start at the top and go through the order again? Or just choose at random?

It looks like I'm out. Between Work, Travel, and graduations there is just no time this weekend.

Reply to this one, and you should have 10!
Apologies if I'm not a good ride leader! I think I need to get a mirror, so I can keep track of y'all!
