I slept pretty bad too. Due to a stupid idea on my part we’re having to keep the windows open for a while. Breezy last night caused our window shades to make more noise than I could handle.

I hate the paths too. Mom's with strollers, people who let thier dogs run thier lives. Clueless high school girls on roller blades. Morons with headphones. Fitness idiots that just stop running in the middle of the path to do push-ups. Not to mention getting hit by cars...Frankly, I'm safer out on the street.
All of this. Still the best ever was the guy on the mountain bike walking his dog with no leash. F-in Moron.
Oh and the bird watchers who set up there 20,000 dollar camera with 10,000 dollar lens on a tripod in the middle of the path right behind a blind spot.
And the two people on road bikes sitting up right and holding hands while they ride side by side with music blaring out of a bluetooth speaker so they can’t hear you coming.

Kept it strictly in zone 2 power today. It was painfully slow, but for once I didn’t cheat. I found it extremely funny that as slow as I was 15 mph ish, this was still faster than when I joined these forums. I would be max effort to be able to do 15 mph.
I was thinking more about the MUP problem in my area, and I have come up with a solution. If we introduced bears to our area, darwinism would take care of the rest. You don’t shove airpods in your ears in Alaska while you run. Ask me how I know.

I’d far prefer AirPods to everyone blasting music from their phones.

Lucky guess. I'll still take it.

I don't understand the reasoning behind using different 'first words'. If your first word is good, there's no reason to change it for the next day. There's no reason to think a different first word will put you any close to a solution.

Only my second 2. The key for me today was my starting word, even though I only got 1 letter, and one of the solutions from a couple of days ago. Adding those things together, I was pretty sure what the first two letters were. Based on the letters I had eliminated, I thought the choice was clear. I was finally right.

I do an early evening ride that uses three MUPs from time to time. There are a couple of short connections on the road. The reasons for riding it are that I have to contend with very little traffic during the busiest times of the day and there is virtually no one on the paths other than bikes.

So for several months were hearing an animal sporadically in our crawl space. It was not constant and it would make noise while we were still watching tv so we didn’t do anything about it. It was not disrupting our sleep. It sounded like a squirel bumping fuzzies or something.
We had our AC replaced, and asked the workers to take a look but they didn’t see anything. The crawl space/attic is covered in insulation and I have no place to walk.
Well the noise started interrupting our sleep, and it started to move around. It was louder. So I threw some moth balls up in the attic, not realizing how bad they are. Anyways the squirel must be long gone, the noise was coming from a pipe that was replaced when the did the ac. It was mounted correctly and I guess the change in temperature or wind or something would cause it to knock.
The smell of moth balls in our house isn’t over whelming, but the wife wants the windows open at all times.
Stupid idea.

I haven’t slept in 3 days. My 11 y/o made some self harm comments at school that have turned into a complete ******g mess with my ex. She’s extremely hormonal and upset because her “friend” is being mean to her, but only got asked questions about family w/ the school counselor, which turned into she gets “yelled” at (when she doesn’t do what she’s supposed to).
Getting a therapist for her is a nightmare, 1+ month wait times. It’s ridiculous.

I met a woman on a ride a few weeks ago that is a counselor. She told me demand for counseling is through the roof right now. With everything that's been going on over the last two years, I get it.
I hope you find a path, and that your child can get through this in a healthy way.
