ISO Simplex retrofriction shifter boss

[NOTE: a double-post since many bypass the ISO/WTB sticky where this also is posted, hope that's okay]

ISO a mounting boss for Simplex Retrofriction lever (plus the thin washer) RH side

back-story: I had this pair of braze-on levers set aside for years but getting ready to put them into action (soon-ish) and discovered that the mounting boss on the RH side was bunged-up (not by me but slipped past me when I bought them, bummer!)

So this is certainly a long shot but where else will there possibly be somebody with some spare parts for this lever (need 4080A and 4076 per the handy diagram I found)
Have MANY items to trade (just make a list) or will outright buy if that's the seller's choice (and I can afford the price)

need only these two parts

how does THAT happen?

no better from this side

looks fine here

Please PM if you have one or a lead to one

UPDATE: Got one from Wayne at Veloclassique thanks to those below for that suggestion! I might also try oneclick's idea to "blacksmith" this damaged one: nothing to lose, right?

Also answered on the ISO thread, but just in case.... Try Wayne at Velo Classique (veloclassique@gmail.com)- I got some Retrofriction bits from him a year or so ago.

It’s been awhile, but I purchased replacement springs for Simplex retrofriction shifters from Wayne at Velo Classique. Hopefully, he has what you need.

Mis-aligned during assembly; the outer friction washer has a similar cutout and the walls of the stud are quite thin.

It's repairable, you haven't lost any metal.
Thread a stud into the hole - you may need to open up the entry a bit with something tapered & smooth.
Mount it firmly in a vice.
Use pressure and/or percussive means to re-shape the boss; with care nothing should break off completely.
If cracks exist fill them with silver-solder (take the stud out first).

Thanks, MH, I think the one shown stripped down to parts is the opposite (the LH side) to what I was asking for, but I have those parts on order from Velo Classique so not a burning issue now.
However I can't tell if that other lever is a (complete) RH unit or not...Might be interested if it is and depending on price (or if trade items are wanted and something I have).

It is all excess junk for me here in the shop. I would trade the whole batch of both side lever parts for one Huret mounting bolt that is 10x1 threaded. Smiles, MH

"...one Huret mounting bolt that is 10x1 threaded"
I don't think I have one, but can take a look. What Huret RD would this bolt be mounting or maybe found on?

Man, what I wouldn't give for a bike co-op near me where Retrofrictions just happen to show up! Heck, what I wouldn't give for a bike co-op of any kind near me!

10x1 mounting bolts of various lengths are common among the Huret range, just get one => the length needed and cut the excess off.
Alvits are longer than Sveltos, haven't got a Challenger apart to check but pictures on the interweb make it look possible.
What's a bit harder to find are the tabbed washers, I gave up and made one.

I will certainly take a look but Huret stuff is generally scarce in my bins of spare parts, however "scarce" isn't necessarily "nuthin."
But it will take me a few days to make a full search

PART TWO:
Now that I got spare parts from Mad Honk (and many thanks to him, indeed!)
I found i could assemble a pair now plus even a spare single BUT now I'm missing just the cupped outer washer the mounting bolts touch.

These are same on both LH and RH sides so if anybody has either assembly scrapped for parts I've got my cup out, one more time...
And as before happy to trade for whatever you have on your list of a similar value that I have.

For the DIY crowd: it has occurred to me that MAYbe a common "trim washer" might work but haven't gone down that path, just yet.

washer is part #4473 in the green circle

unworthy1-

Are you referring to part number 4473 or 3670? Either way, I believe I have what you need.

Great! Only need one 4473, I couldn't adjust the angle of my oval to avoid catching 3670 in it.
BUT if you also have a spare flat washer 3674 I'd be happy to take that, too.
PM me a list of trade items you're in the hunt for and I'll see what I can provide.
Thanks again!
