Garmin 520 plus or Wahoo Bolt ?
I'm looking at or maybe getting a Wahoo Bolt or Garmin 520 plus
I use iPhone 7 with Iwatch
I use Cyclemeter App to Monitor my ride. Then Cyclemeter uploads to Strava and my Facebook
My ride what I use
Just speed , distance ( road bike 20 to 40 miles week and mountain bike just around house area on streets 5 to 10 miles week)
I like the Heart Rate from Iwatch
I use ear buds to listen to music from Iphone with GPS , Cyclemeter
This runs battery down on iphone
I like to have device that gps
Heart monitor rate
Speed
Distance
Saved data to iPhone heath activity , Will this save data to my heath activity on Iphone ?
Also text or phone calls on device
Thanks

I have not "tried" the wahoo but played with it and I own the 520. I would love for a reason for my 520 to die for some reason so I had an excuse to get the 520+. I really like Garmin stuff and it just works for me. I know some folks have issue with Garmin sometimes but I have 4 Garmin items and they are all flawless!
I should work for them.....I have already drank the cool-aid

If your choice is going to be Garmin, and if you don't need maps, then I'd get the plain Edge 520. Maps and route planning on these devices works great for some and is maddening and frustrating for other users. So if you don't need or want that feature, why expose yourself to it and potentially make yourself mad over it.
As for Garmin vs Wahoo? beats me.

I started riding last July and my brother advised me to go with the Bolt. I did and it's been flawless. Terrific battery life, easy to do ride routes, tons of customization for the screens, it uploads to Strava as soon as the ride is over... what more could you want?
My brother has a Garmin 520 or 820, one of the two, and he saw my Bolt and offered to trade me even up. His Garmin has color maps (Bolt is black/white), but he says once his Garmin craps out he's buying a Bolt, without hesitation.
Highly recommended!

As of yet unanswered - "Saved data to iPhone heath activity , Will this save data to my heath activity on Iphone ?"
No clue. I would be calling both Wahoo as well as Garmin and ask as I don't think you're going to get an answer here.

Not sure what you're asking but the Wahoo Companion App does save limited data to the iPhone Health App. It will save Cycling Distance, Calories Burned and Heart Rate (starting, average and maximum). I save this data to my Health App on each ride.

My Elemnt Bolt was delivered today. Looking forward to start using it. The only thing I found doing some research is I guess I will need to wear a separate HRM and not use my Apple watch. It's a shame the companion app doesn't have a watch app that can sync the HRM from the watch to the companion app kind of like how Strava does it.

i went with Garmin 520 plus with HRM belt . The main reason why went with Garmin . I wanted to support my LBS . They maint my bike , answer my silly question and adjust the shifting with no charge when needed . If they would have carry both units been different story

I agree it is nice to support the LBS when you can. I do all of my own work so the only time I usually visit a LBS is when I am looking at new bikes or parts. I looked at the 520 plus also. I think it is more Apple not allowing the watch to broadcast the HR to other devices. Be nice if they would allow it. Maybe with the new watch or even WatchOS 5 it might but who knows. I am going to be ordering a wrist band for HRM before long.
My next purchase now will be the Garmin Varia Rear Radar .
