Is this vintage?
I've tried to do some image searches on this but have been unsuccessful. I have not seen a bike with the chainguard attached to the rear fender in this way. Does anyone recognize the model of this bike and know the approximate age? Thanks!

I'm no authority on this stuff, but it did remind me of a Sears Stingray that I used to ride (boy, was it heavy!).
A search pulls up this CABE thread, and post #8 shows a bike with the same sort of fender & chainguard.

It's probably vintage, but may not be. BITD (meaning before 1970, give or take) about a gazillion bikes very similar to this were used by about a gazillion paper boys back when there still were paper boys and the 10-speed bike boom hadn't quite hit yet.

My thought also on Sears. Google Sears Spyder for pics. I had a 24” banana seat 5 speed with top tube stick shift. I think there were also 20”. Probably made by Murray or Huffy.
Web pic; not mine, but very similar. Mine had a front brake. My brother had this dual rear brake one in blue. 24” models that were fast compared to 20” bikes.
