Unknown red bianchi

Can someone help me out with a Bianchi for sale with an owner that supplying very little.

Red Bianchi, supposedly from the 1970s, by the look I'm thinking 80s but I may be wrong.
Rack and the beer holder I'm sure are add-ons.

Anyhow, the guy is asking 250$ for it. But keep in mind I am on the West Coast where prices don't make sense, and my gf really wants a pretty bike.

If someone had an idea on the model, year, value, or things I should look for when I go check it out tomorrow let me know.

Thanks a ton!

I think 80s is right, although BG will actually know with some authority.

$250 seems fair. It's small and a Bianchi. I could likely get in that range for it in the calmer markets here, despite needed new bar tape.

I am no expert but appears to be late 70s early 80s. $250 doesn't seem too bad if she really wants it. The neglected bar tape would lead me to believe it needs a full tune up. I would want it for $175ish.

I think the decal puts it in the late '70s. That style seems to be only on the upperend models by '80.

Personally I think unless your right in one of the bigger cities $250 sounds steep. Go check it out and see what kind of components are on it. If has a Campagnolo crank set and or derailleurs (other than Valentino) it is likely worth the price.
