Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice wheels! A little too much red for me. I'd add more white. The white souls would of been nice and white bar tape.

You know I almost got that exact same year/model. I LOVED the blue (it is my favorite color). However I chose to wait it out for the 2010 model. Still is a beautiful color. Definitely stands out amongst all the white/black/grey models out there...

Thanks...the blue is a break from the norm for sure. The Bastogne's will go with the dark crank much better IMO...the white bar tape just had to go

Hi mate, at the time (think circa 03) it was new, old photo for a nice bike. Have gone through a few since then, however this one sticks in my memory as being a nice frame. Current look 595 does the job too.

A sub 15lbs 6/4 titanium with work done on crank, handlebars, fork and seatpost to make a better match.

Goes intentionally against every rule of the bike-fashion-police, but is really a true racing bike

Seriously... The bike-fashion-police has nothing on you. With a bike like that, you're able to defy every single rule they define.

Didn't you know? The cabbage stand is all the rage amongst those in the cycling elite. Lance uses one.
