Cannondale SI Crank bolt washer

Hey guys. Just removed the crank bolt off this crank and noticed there is no washer. Is it a big deal not having one installed? Would hardware stores have them? Could someone please provide a description of what to ask for?

Many thanks.

I've installed one without the washer and rode it one season, no problems. BUT .... Cannondale says DON'T DO IT!! Easiest way to get the washers is to order a set of the crank bolts, they come with the washers. You can find them pretty easy on eBay or online.
