Bottom bracket infos
Hello, my roadbike have a bottom bracket marked as Bb7241. My local shop sold me the bb7141a.
I know that is specific for mountain bike, but would be compatible for my roadbike?
What's the difference between the tho models?

I'm ignorant of the "new" stuff, but it appears the shell width (at least) is different.

I had to take this bb because I'll be free from work for around 8 days and this was the only option available... In a few shops

...if you are keeping the same crank, it comes with the spindle as part of the crank.
All the sleeve in the middle does is space the bearing assemblies closer or farther apart.
So you should be fine, if you're replacing the crank and bearings on the same bicycle.
