Pictures of your loaded rigs?

I see. I recently got the Axiom Paddywaggon (https://www.axiomgear.com/products/ge...ywagon-exp-19/), but the mini-panniers that come with that bag are not as large as the pictures on their website seems to indicate. I like the extra storage room the mini-panniers provide, without having to carry a full-size pannier.

My new Disc Trucker. I wanted to set the bike up to carry panniers up front but the Blackburn Mountain front rack did not fit my Surly fork. I'm going to try a Jandd extreme front rack with a set of Ortlieb front roller plus....in hazel. I haven't toured but I'm hoping to start this spring with a few overnighters to try different set-ups before I commit to a multi-day trip on the Sierra - Cascades route.

Thank you. We just arrived into Cottonwood, AZ just south of Sedona. Got a motel to slam some work out for a few days...deadlines of the "real' world office life still affect me. Cheers and thanks for following!

It's weird that what I've read is that front weight should be low, like these panniers, but then the handlebar bag is contrary to that advice. Wouldn't it be better to have the contents of the handlebar bag on a flat rack just over the wheel?

I don't know the actual conversion rate, but one kilo in your handlebar bag is the same as ten kilo's in your front panniers.
But to be honest, I really liked to have a sluggish feel when steering, especially when going downhill or making tight corners.

Kettle Valley Railway:
-When the kid is in the trailer, some stuff goes on the kid-seat.
-When the kid is on the seat (or on his Strider), stuff goes in the trailer.
-Strider gets strapped to the trailer, just above the tent.
(Have replaced the panniers since these pics.)

hey there Mr Botox, your Nissan Sentra is very dusty ;-)
I often wonder why more people using Rohlofs dont use those chain guard cover thingees, makes complete sense to keep all the crap off the chains and sprockets, im sure it makes a big diff over time in wet, dusty and muddy conditions for sprocket and chain wear.
where are those hills in the photo? Enquiring minds want to know. Oh, also, those are those hydraulic rim brakes arent they? I had a german friend who had them on his touring bike, and that was nearly 20 yrs ago.

Maybe there are other reason's for not having a flat front rack. For me it's because my car carrier requires a bar to go over the tire to secure the bicycle on it.
