as mentioned in a prev post - keep eyes on CL and FB for used bikes ... also LBS that sell used bikes

two bikes above are small 26” bikes - not much larger than some 24” bikes

the K2 is a small with a seat tube size around 13” or so and short top tube

the Giant ATX is a 13.5 (and short top tube)

neither bike would be considered lightweight - especially compared to current bikes / standard - but both are not too heavy ... can’t recall what the K2 weighed - but it was respectable considering the front fork ... the Giant weighs 21.8 lbs as it currently sits

7.6 FX - small 13” 700c hybrid with carbon fork, lightweight wheelset and nice component group ... sweet little hybrid - and rare

I don’t recall if Trek listed 13” size in their catalog - would need to check ... thought 15” might be smallest size listed

I recently worked on a Schwinn 24” varsity, and was introduced to the different 24” sizes — there are ISO sizes 507, 520, 540, and 547. The Schwinn rims were ISO 547, which is just like 1/2” smaller than the ISO 559 26” rim. I know this is irrelevant, l just thought I’d add some useless knowledge.

I have bikes of the other 3 24" sizes in the house, but I've managed to avoid the Schwinn one so far.
