Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

This bike is at the local goodwill auction. Any info available? I don't think it's a high dollar ride but if I can pick it up cheap...what the heck, why not.

It’s a cheap heavy ride. I have a similar junky bike.

Watch that the BB doesn’t come apart on you.

Mine fits 700x35 on those stock wheels, and probably bigger, but… I wanted to try for 26x1.75 for a really janky MTB, they wouldn’t fit.

I’m gutting mine.

Meh....I think I'll put in a bid for $15 and see if I can flip it. Thanks for the heads up.

It looks like one of those fixed gear boom bikes, junk at best but I guess it would probably be worth more than $15 in scrap and provided you can pick up locally it isn't the worst deal out there.
