3 x 3 gear
Any thoughts about the 3x3 gear hub [ https://www.3x3.bike/en/ ]? Vs the Rohloff vs Shimano?

There’s not enough info on their website to tell us what differentiates this from other IGH designs that have been available for years (many decades in some cases).
IGHs from Rohloff, Shimano, and Sturmey Archer have pros and cons compared to derailleur systems. This one probably does as well.
Rohloff is durable and available with 13 or more gears, but very expensive. Shimano Nexus (rim, drum or coaster brake) and Alfine (rim or disc brake) are good designs, reasonably priced, and available with 3 to 8 speeds.
SA hubs come with 2 to 8 speeds, variety of brake options, and an attractive price. Again, there’s nothing to indicate how the 3x3 nine speed system stands out.

Rohloff has been around the world many times and has been around for a long time. Shimano has been around longer but they haven't gotten past 11 speed hubs but they are still good stuff. 3x3 could be really good or maybe not so much but not really a ton of great info on them yet. Same thing with Kindernay, though I like the idea of that hub as it is a thru-axle hub where Rohloff hasn't actually done it they have just adapted their current hub to work on it.
