Nose-less saddle: thoughts on tweaking fit ?

If you, too, ride a nose-less saddle ... I've been riding for many years with a nose-less saddle and one result of this is it's difficult to avoid leaning on my arms. After about 2 hours, this leads to wrist pain or arm fatigue. Nose-less saddle riders, do you have similar challenges with fit or comfort on longer rides, and how have you dealt with them?

They saddle I make is ridden as if it is noseless, and you don't lean on your arms.

Chances are you don't have enough set back.

Before I converted to three wheels from two, my favorite bikes all had noseless ISM saddles. I raised the handlebar if necessary and shortened my reach so I had a more upright riding position. I also used closed cell foam handlebar grips, I think from Grab On, and wrapped them with cushioned handlebar tape. Once I got the saddle dialed in fore and aft, level and about the same height as the handlebar, I never slid forward again and I rarely had hand numbness. Oh, and I don't know if it matters, but I converted from drop bars to butterfly, or trekking handlebars. The many hand positions available and the extra cushion from the foam grips made a big difference. My hip bones sat exactly where the saddle maker intended and my butt and hands were happy.
