It doesn't really qualify as vintage, being a 2010 model (with a carbon fork and seat post, no less), but I just picked up this Break Away.

He may not have had his hands on it but his DNA is there in spades IMO.

Next thing you know, Mark got one and the discussion ensued after I let that one get away.

There are a lot of them in that scheme, its a good one, I saw a frame only on CL here for $300 I think?, can't remember the size, may have been the same one you saw but thought it was bigger as I considered it for a bit but wasn't sure about these, my bad.

I wanted the orange one in Oregon bad, but he wouldn’t ship it and there were no airports within a reasonable distance to fly out to and pick it up. This is why I have the red and blue one, flew to Columbus, Ohio to pick it up.

Thread needs a bump. I posted this pix of Mr Repack Rider on the t-shirt thread. He and I were discussing Ritcheys at a Sunset Crit in San Rafael a few years back…he stopped as he saw my red Ritchey road tandem leaning against the barricade as he was walking by with his lovely Ritchey.

A good friend passed and his daughter brought his Ritchey by. He had recently repainted and sourced a set of vintage stickers from Tom. Bike had sat outside due to being too tall for other family members. Frame is now hanging indoors and the group is on a VooDoo

If I had an abundance of spare money lying around, I'd want to see if Tom Ritchey would build me a new frame in the style of his earlier road bikes.
