Crusty Canadian market ‘82 Peugeot - French threaded?
The model is a sprint. I’ve got a stonglight puller but have been known to strip a crankset and bottom bracket or two so figured I’d check here for any thoughts first:

The Stronglight puller is bigger - if it won't fit in the crank, use a standard (haha) one.
That crank looks like a Solida to me.
Measure your tube diameters - if they are metric it's a good bet the threads are as well.
Another clue to BB threads can be had by pulling the fork and checking its threads (do they mesh with a 24tpi bit).

Since my 1980 PKN-10 was Swiss-threaded, I think yours likely may be, as well. Otherwise, it is probably ISO. Either way, the fixed cup will unscrew clockwise, rather than anticlockwise. Try the Sheldon Brown bolt, washers, and nut approach.

FWIW, my Canadian 83 UO14 was standard threaded. It does however have an SR version of the Stronglight 99.

As noted in another reply, there is no Swiss thread for pedals, but there are French/metric and ISO/stanadrd. My US version had Stronglight cranks and ISO pedal threading.
