Carbon Bottle Cage
I am looking for a pair of new bottle cage.
Has to be lightweight and have a good grip.
Basically decided on one of the following three:
Elite d Moro Carbon Cage
Elite Patao Carbon Cage
Anyone cares to tell me which of the above have good grip on bottles and easy sliding in/out?
Don't want to accuse of causing a crash due to a lousy cage

i have elite plastic cages. very good. nice and secure and pretty and light.

I really can't see any way for a bad bottle cage to cause you to crash. If you can't pull the bottle out, just give up, pull over, and get a drink with the bike stopped. If the bottle is too loose instead of too snug, it'll drop your bottle, but that won't crash you. Believe me. I spent the weekend climbing the worst hills on offer in hill town, and dropped bottles going up and down 20 % grades. You just go back for them, if you're climbing, or wait for them to roll down to you.
Or maybe you meant it's ok to crash as long as it's not because of the bottle cages?

Since were on the topic of cages anyone know of a cage that'll fit the camelbak podium chill bottles. I have some tacx juno cages right now that i had to cut a slit through so they expand to fit my bottles but i just don't like the way they look. I got them cheap on ebay but now i want something a little better looking. Can be plastic or carbon, doesn't matter.

I'm partial to Tacx Tao carbon cages. They work well / proven design. I agree that the plastic version is about the same weight and a fraction of the cost but hard to beat the bling factor of a nice carbon cage.
