Ha Ha, I wasn't even in the neighborhood. (I did have the right number of figures, though.)

But my second thought was, they're really asking for additional shipping at that price?

Great bike and very valuable. The price is silly...

Gee, I've seen 3 of Lance's TdF bicycles sell for between $150,00 and $500,000. By comparison, this bicycle seems a bargain and it can actually still lay claim to a TdF victory.

If it's legit, pretty cool piece of history, but a little out of my price range.

Couple of years ago a Banesto Pinarello f&f was on sale on eeekk-bay in my size. Had a different (unknown) rider's name. Listing was from Spain, near Madrid. Price was $1,000. I have kicked myself many times for passing, but got an EM Corsa Extra frameset instead for less than 1/2 the price- so I don't kick too hard.

I wonder if you Buy it Now, he'll throw in a pair of tubies that hold air. If it were a little smaller I would make an offer. $2K and I'm fine with the flat tires?

Most likely high quality silk tubs with latex inner tubes that needs pumping up every day to not go flat.....I'd take those!!

I have that same saddle; two, actually.
I only want $1000 apiece. I'm so easy.

Interesting he went from a 58x58 to a 59.9x59.9 in two years. The 59.5 is my size but that 180mm crank is a deal breaker.
