Touching up paint from Trek seatpost
I have a new domane and they come with painted seat posts. I know they look good, but I adjusted my seat and now you see a pretty big scratch. The dealer adjusted it too low and I raised the seatpost.
Trek says they don't provide touch up paint.
Any alternative solutions? Is a project one matte alpine blue color.
Any ideas what could I do to repair it?
Not the end of the world, but If I could make it look better, why not...

You could go to a shop with automotive section, if they have touch up paints for car bodies. Not in spray but those little bottles with a tiny brush in the bottle cap. You may have to judge which color comes close to your bike post and do just very local masking the scratch with it, so it doesn't catch the eye. Probably will come out better even if you don't get perfect color match.

Providing dozens of custom paints it a labor intensive process. Paint also has a shelf life so they'd probably toss 75% of it in the trash.
My Trek Project One is Dnister Black, so i use a black Sharpie.
Take the seatmast to a large nail salon and see if they have something that is close.

MAybe I can try a blue sharpie?
Sorry, but Trek should do better in terms of design. They can't expect to be able to set the post ONCE and then just have it all scratched.
