Classic style clincher rim with small profile (and can used with a front brake)
I recently picked up a dirt cheap NJS frame with a lot of high end parts that I might end up selling.
The only downsize is the old Mavic rims are tubular. The hubs are Suzui Pro Max 32H high flange and figured I could just have them rebuilt on a clincher rim.
I haven't completely decided if I'm going to keep the bike or not but this is what I need in a rim
-32H
-Classic minimalist low profile. Silver, bronze, polished etc..
-The fork has been drilled for front brake so figured I would need a brake surface for the front rim in case the buyer wants to add a brake.
-It can be a modern or NOS style classic rim (if it's a classic rim, it just needs to be readily available).
-Most of all, something semi-durable and INEXPENSIVE. I don't care about weight weenie stuff.
ALSO, an alternative idea. I keep the old wheels for myself (I love tubs) and buy a new wheelset. I just need something inexpensive.

+1 on the M13 IIs. I have two pairs (one for ss/fixed & another for vintage 6spd/skewers) and they look awesome on skinny 20c tanwalls. Its a classic looking track look without the ridiculous price tag. Not to mention they’re very well built, the eyelets are a nice touch.
*Here they are on my ‘63 Allegro track bike
