merziac for some unknown reason quoting not working for me.
Also the bbbob post that merziac quoted looks to be deleted.

Time to revive this thread

There’s been a number of Paramounts that people have acquired recently. I remembered looking at this thread when I bought my first one back in November, but never got around to adding that one in.

this is a 24” ‘69 that had a crappy repaint (the color is good, but the coverage is really bad). I built it up with an early 70’s NR group.

It came with no seat or bars. So I put some on to “check it out”. I liked it a lot so more work was needed.

The Windsor photo bombing in this shot became the donor bike for the NR build.

1974 p15 with a repaint. It came to me in very unoriginal condition and is now even moreso. It rides like a dream!

This showed up at the door the other day, came in talked to my other Paramounts. It decided to let me be it's caretaker for the forseeable future so I made a spot and added it to the fleet.

Must be the very late 1950s. Looks like a new paint job, but many original components including the very nice crank.

Not so sure about "very late 50's" ?

This is 913 known to be 1958.

^^^ That is a very nice example of an early Paramount. The first I’ve seen of that color.

Tx man, Brewster Green, Richard Schwinn said he had never seen it called that, named after one of the kids way back in the 50's he thinks.

I have another older Wastyn built one in a bit rough shape, same color, inch pitch, rear facing RDO's may have been a track but has a drilled rear brake bridge.

Brewster green goes back to at least the early thirties as an automobile color.
A Google image search shows that there is a lot of variation in the colors called Brewster Green.

I believe it is a 1974 P15. Rebuilt it with non Campy parts. Only Campy items left are the headset and clamp on cable guides.

These Paramounts from the sixties and older fascinate me, would love to see some photos of this bike.

I like the double bottle cages on the handlebars. I've done the same to my '71 P13.
