Eroica saddle rules ?

The wife and I are doing our first Eroica this September and I’m looking for info regarding saddles. We both have Selle Anatomicas on our Wilier Ramato’s and hope they are legal ? I’ve looked at the rules and it says participants are invited to use period correct saddles. I’m a bit thrown by what they mean by invited? Encouraged but not mandatory is how I take that but I’d rather know now.
Ive not had any luck asking them via email as it sends the message to Italy best I can determine.

Pictured with B17’s but Anatomica saddles mounted now.

I have not seen or heard about saddle police at Eroica CA.

Besides, with that beautiful cromovelato Wilier Trestina frame, no one is going to be looking at the saddle.

If you don't stand up or get off the bike, you should be OK

Seriously, when you read the rules, they "allow" reproduction seats, and your seats have a vintage look.

Eroica rules

6.1 g) we invite participants to fit saddles from the same period of the bicycles, so a model of 1987 or earlier, or a vintage model of modern production such as Brooks leather saddles, Cinelli replicas, San Marco, etc;

I personally wouldn’t worry about any period correct issues with Eroica, CA. In the two I participated in, I saw all manner of inauthentic stuff happening and no one cared. It was all just about being chill and hanging with like-minded folks. Even in Italy, they’ll let you do whatever you want for the ride and then technically “disqualify” you after the ride, which, of course, means nothing anyway.

Far as I know you don't get the bottle of wine. And not always correctly, knowledge often is reduced to Italy ... But that's some years ago.

To be truly ‘eroic, you’d ride without a saddle.
