Dahon Vitesse D7 vs. Tern D7i
Have been interested in the Tern D7i for some time.
Someone suggested I consider the Dahon Vitesse D7 as well.
Any opinions on major differences?
Thanks

The Major difference between the two is the hinges which you can't replace or upgrade after without buying a entirely new bike. The Tern's hinges are extremely beefy among all the other folders in the major markets. You'll have to ride both and give it a good stand up and power pedal to feel what's good between the two. Parts i'm not too sure of but it's probably industry standards for the folding bike world one is a derailler and the other is an internal hub from the models you listed.

Test ride both. The Tern has a fixed handlepost. The Dahon has an adjustable handlepost. For some riders, the Tern handlebars are too low. There are some options for raising the Tern's handlebars. IMHO, you want to know that a bike will be comfortable before you purchase it.
