Why just Cromor/tretubi. They surely would have sold more of these if they specified a higher grade of tubing from Columbus.
If it is Tretubi, the three main tubes are Cromor. What did they use for the stays, fork legs and steerer tubes??

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Cromor bikes when on vintage bikes and priced accordingly. But to see it on something like this for that price just seems quite underwhelming to me. It's such a lovely bike yet for that price there's so many other steel options.

Thank you for the link. I tried and could not find it.
The tires were Clement. Very attractive.
If the rims were actual weimanI would remember that. It was a name I was not familiar with.
And please notice there’s no mention of the hub.
To me, the wheels are the easiest thing to solve. The gentleman owner had a plethora of.sew-ups
I picked up a set of large flange Campy hubs with fiamme red label rims and UST??? Tires.
When I asked him how much he wanted, he turned it around and said make an offer.
I told him “I didn’t want to pay too much, but I didn’t want to get ripped off.”
Then I added, “ I’ve been looking for these rims. They are important to me. And I doubt anybody else in the last 40 years has come in asking for them. So whatever you’re thinking, double it.”
He charged me $50
