It'd be nice to see more, that is, see more pictures; at least now we are usually get a description or quote or something else more than bare links form the usual suspects.
The thing is, most of those links will soon point to nothing.
Grabbing a picture and reposting it here makes the thread a better resource in so many ways - and it takes so little work: click, save as, manage attachments, upload.

SCHWINN PARAMOUNT TANDEM BIKE - $450 (RESEDA)

VINTAGE SCHWINN PARAMOUNT TANDEM BIKE

Anybody ship a tandem lately within US ? What did it cost? I’ve been looking for one and I’m dumb enough to fall for an old one instead of the totally serviced one for less money 🙂
wife is 5’9”ish , you think she’d be on back?

Slowride79 If you have someone selling who is near an Amtrak station and you are near one it might not be as bad. You'd need someone to remove front and rear wheels (I think) to fit an Amtrak box.

Perhaps you might post that very question on the Tandem forum...

Hello WGB, I’m fact I’m just 3 miles from Detroit Amtrak station. I thought I read on the cabe that Amtrak stopped this service some years ago? Thank you for suggestions!

I shipped a tandem across the country about ten years ago. I used Greyhound and the cost was very reasonable (at that time) at about $110.

I honestly have no idea if this has been outed before or not. Doug Fattic is an extremely talented framebuilder and class act to boot. He also teaches frame painting, so if you picked up this frame you could have him restore it for you. (I'm a bit biased. I just started a framebuilding class with Doug.) Seller says 55ctc seat tube, 57ctc top tube.

Wait, you are 6'0" even? How is that possible that I can only ride a 56-57cm comfortably...my inseam is 31-ish

I always assumed you were like 6'4" or something looking at the Strawberry.

That 62cm Motobecane was for a 6'1"er so I guess it makes sense now.

For some reason, and don't ask me why, I am not fond of this "timebehindbars" seller on eBay (sorry in advance if this is someone here or someone we know). They've been around forever and seem to have no interest in making a sale, just listing items that sit for an eternity because they're a bit too pricey.

Agreed, and who lists a Land Shark without at least cleaning it up and stripping broken cables or getting the chain off the ground.
