Well, if you are going as far as calling it art, I'd finish the inside of the cutout to a higher degree. The scratches do not do it justice.

Beautiful. Did you give it a full resurfacing with sandpaper up to polishing compound?

Beautiful and meticulous job

It looks SAKAE SL, Super Light.
2 bolts look chrome.
SL had steel bolts, ESL had titanium bolts.


Campy 1st gen record.
The seller didn't know who did it.

Yep. 400 to 800 to compound. It is not perfect, but neither is the bike it is going on - the Trek 957

Beautiful (above bike and seatpost).

SR New Royal Extra Super Light. Ti bolts, just polished to a high finish because they had some marring.

There's a lot of art here and like beauty that we also have a lot of, is in the eye of the beholder.

I would say at least half the bikes, pics, parts and pieces here easily qualify.

Not sure if the OP was asking for examples but.....
