It's not working. I talked to Guy Apple, he sent Google a request for restarting the page. He said there is not feedback as to what is going on.

I initially received the warning. Now it isn't even listed as one of my Google Groups.

Yes. Guy is working on it, but it looks like the content may be all gone, just flushed, and Guy will have to rebuild the whole thing, hopefully on another platform like groups.io (my opinion, not anything Guy has stated he's looking into). Since Google has screwed us royally, I can't see how they can be trusted in future.

Sounds like you are talking about the classicrendezvous.com website? That is not hosted by google, and is not affected.
What's down (and maybe gone forever) is the mailing list.

Hi,

Without any warning at all today, Google Groups has deleted the group account because of "unwanted content" (spam) from an outside source. I am working to appeal the decision by Google but they are less than helpful and I am less than hopeful. As much as I don't like it, I may have to rebuild a new Google Group and hand-enter all of the members because there are many of us who will have issues with a new from the ground up plugin Wordpress compatible forum at this point. On data recovery, archive, I hold little hope. I need some time to figure this out.

Will let you know when I know more. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry for not being clear in my OP. That clearly lead to some confusion.

Not your fault. I would be curious as to what, if anything, Google has to say.

Hi Lynn,
GG has not sent me any message. BTW, I have scanned the website with my Wordfence Pro and found this.
  • 2 paths were skipped for the malware scan due to scan settings
    Type: Skipped Paths
As I said before, the website and CR GG are not connected in any way.

Thanks for your communications yesterday, the care shown by you is much appreciated.
