new to me 2013 Trek 8.3 DS (Gary Fisher Collection). I really like the color combination. Found on Craigslist. Less than 50 miles on it.

You'll have to forgive me for having a non hybrid in the pic.

2013 Diamondback Vital 2 (wife's bike), 2012 Specialized Crosstrail Sport, and a 2016 Specialized Fatboy.

Giant Roam 1 (2015)

Here's a couple of better pics of my new (used) 2015 Giant Roam 1. I cleaned her up spotless this weekend and went out for a short inaugural cruise... what a sweet bike! I love it! Pretty much stock for now, except for a bell and proper Giant stand that the previous owner put on. Next season I'll add an Axiom Journey rack, Ergon GR3's, a couple of black alloy water bottle holders, my Delta Smartphone Caddy, lights, and a small frame pack to hold misc odds and ends.

Cheers
TRJB

You could do some great bushcrafting on that fat tire bike

I just saw your pic on BCUSA

Great looking bike! I'm currently torn between this, the Diverge and Giant Fastroad Comax1. Not sure if I want a dropbar or flatbar. Ugh, these decisions stink! lol.

This bike is too small for me so I have everything raised about as far as it can go. I built it up for a friend, so before I sell it them I'll remove some of the headset spacers and lower the seat. I spent about $180 for the frame and rebuild, but I'm not sure how much to sell it for. Thoughts?

Frame: Univega GranTech 6400
Wheels: Front, Mavic Cxp21 with 105 hub, 32 . Rear, Mavic open pro, 105 hub, shimano ultegra 6500 9 speed road cassette 11-23
Cranks: Shimano 600, Biospace chainrings 52+42
Brakes: Dura Ace BR-7700
Shifters: Front friction: shimano deore off old mtb. Right: Sunrace 9sp index
Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT-m760

Much better. The suspension wasn't very effective at all. The fork provides sharper steering and better position.

That looks great. I want to swap out my suspension fork for carbon on my Fuji Traverse as soon as I can figure out what works best without breaking the bank.

Picked this up about a month ago. Haven't ridden a bike in probably 15 years or so and have no idea about the different parts and what not but have been enjoying it so far!

Sweet looking ride, I love the stealth look! What model of Kenda tires are on that and how do you find them for rolling resistance?

Cheers

If those are the stock tires I believe they are Kenda K180's. I had a set on a beater bike and they were pretty good. They lasted forever and they rolled easier than the 26 x 2.1's I replaced. I think they have about the same resistance as 26 x 1.5's but with more traction.

They are K180, at least that's what they look like according to google and what came on the bike when I got it. Not riding a bike in so many years I couldn't say whether they roll decent or not.

We are having unseasonably warm weather up here in central Canada - 17 degrees C today, which is 17 degrees above the normal average! Normally we would have about 3" of snow on the ground by now. It's suppose to fall off the cliff early next week and return to normal temps, so I got in one last 50km ride today - out to Assiniboine Park the check out the scene. Oldest park in my city - development started in 1904, the park officially opened in 1909, and is located at the edge of the Assiniboine Forest, along the Assiniboine River. The park covers 1,100 acres (450 ha), of which 400 acres (160 ha) are designed in the English garden/landscape style. Main pavilion is in the background...

Pretty awesome fall day on my new-ish Giant Roam 1 if you ask me!

Cheers,
TRJB
