Skip tooth Hawthorn with 24” wheels laced clown style on 26” frame. It’s been sitting outside for many years so will need some work. One good paying clown job and you will get all your money back.
What does "laced clown style" mean?

I was confused too, but then I saw that the hubs are eccentric. You can imagine it bobbing and bucking as you ride.

I admit that I laughed when I first saw this but after some thought, my sister should get this. She rides a baseball cap under her helmet which is not safe and makes her look ridicules. Thanks for this post.

(a) I don't have one myself (yet), but when I first saw a rider with one, I was in a car and I slowed down and yelled at him out my window to ask him what it was called
(b) you're a 'guelphite'? I just today started reading Inferno for 100 Days of Dante !

Hmmm...Yep, I reside in Guelph. Apparently there are now 2 of those city names in the states, one of which was a fellow Guelphite.
Funny you mention this, I had a chap on FB became really angry when I messaged him the correct term. He then further illustrated his ignorance when he mixed his metaphors and even then misquoted it. Okay, I'm old and i digress a lot.

If you are going to list a table on Facebook at least you should include a picture of the drive side. I've got to admit that I am partial to Campus Green table bases.

Guelphs and Ghibellines: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guelphs_and_Ghibellines

By 1300, the Florentine Guelphs had divided into the Black and White Guelphs. The Blacks continued to support the Papacy, while the Whites were opposed to Papal influence, specifically the influence of Pope Boniface VIII.Dante was among the supporters of the White Guelphs, and in 1302 was exiled when the Black Guelphs took control of Florence.

This old Schwinn evidently wants to be all models to all people; Phantom (most likely, which is a real shame for the condition it's in), Jaguar (nope), Corvette (nope, I had one), Deluxe (whatever).

I'll grant you the aesthetic "challenge" of a cap under a helmet, but how is that arrangement "not safe?"

I may have spoken too soon. Searching again, I found this is about $10:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/293608223724

And this is closer to $5:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/293169882187

But it looks like both are designed really for construction hardhats, probably not suitable for bike helmets.

I hope the seller returns to whichever bike shop and gets their money for installing the fork backwards.

Stock photo shows disc brake on non drive side.

The helmet needs to be properly seated on the head. The baseball cap creates a barrier that interferes with that. I can place my hand on top of my sister’s head and shift the helmet around which defeats the purpose. I imagine its on YouTube for proper helmet fit.

So how does the thin piece of fabric of a cap of some sort present more of an obstacle to properly fitting a helmet then, say, lustrous bountiful fluffy human hair?

(Or is the answer to that on Youtube too?)

Sounds like you have some inner dialogue going on and no matter what I say that won’t escalate this matter so I’ll leave it here.
