Alexrim Free-hub Body Replacement
Hello All,
I searched older threads on this topic, but wasn't able to locate the replacement for this free-hub body based on advice in those threads.
Any help is appreciated.
Details for this free-hub body (freewheel sticking) that needs to be replaced:
-Off an Alexrim DP-21 tubeless 27.5 mountain bike wheel
-9 Speed Sunrace cassette
-Removed from non-drive side using 12mm Allen key
Anyone know where new replacements can be found for these?
If I can't find a replacement I'm considering replacing the hub, instead of a whole new rim set...thoughts, or advice on this?

Replacing a hub is a lot more expensive than replacing a freehub body. You have to buy a complete hub, not just part of one, and you have to pay for the time needed to disassemble and rebuilt the wheel, providing your spokes can be reused. Most of the time, it is cheaper to simply buy a complete wheel.

I've got a freehub like that on a used bike I recently bought. The freehub worked, but was noisy. I rebuilt it using the following video as a guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9gIEG1db0s
It was a relatively easy job. There really wasn't much inside. Just three pawls and a hoop spring. There were 25 1/8" balls on the inner bearing and the same number on the outer. My freehub is quiet now.
