Seat post bottle cages

Been looking to get one. Want just a single cage and the easier to remove the better. Most of the ones Ive seen online dont look that great.

any recommendations?

Go to bike shop.
Rummage.
Buy least offensive.
Fit to frame.

Amazon.com: Minoura SBH-80 Single Water Bottle Cage Mount for Behind Seat: Sports & Outdoors

Use that on the saddle and get whatever bottle cage/holder you fancy.

I don't believe so, usually the bottle cages when purchased come with them.

Looking for an adapter kind, if so, save yourself the headache and get a shop to put in the rivnuts needed for the bolts then run what ever bottle cage you want.

Putting them in is easy enough as long as you have the tools to do it.

Tried 'em, did not like. I like to scoot back on my seat on the gnarliest, steepest descents and behind seat cages don't allow me to do that.

I have one such descent on one of my regular routes. Butt behind the saddle, in the drops, right hand on the brake, left foot unclipped.

This, or get a more appropriate frame for that kind of use.

Why the hell would I get a new frame just to have a water bottle on occasion. Why would I out the rivets on a vigorelli. What's wrong with y'all? I don't want it on there all the time.

They both seem like reasonable suggestions to me, depending on your budget ofc.
